TAGI Logistics successfully executed a complex heavy cargo transportation project for Hyundai, demonstrating its expertise in project logistics and oversized cargo handling.
The shipment weighed 24 tons with dimensions of 12.5 meters in length, 5.6 meters in width, and 6.5 meters in height, requiring detailed engineering, route surveys, and specialized transport equipment. The scope of work (SOW) included cargo transportation, port handling services, port charges management, and final delivery to the designated installation position.
Challenging Operation on Vietnam’s Middle Side Coast
Making it a challenging heavy cargo transportation project that required comprehensive planning, engineering analysis, and specialized equipment. Prior to execution, TAGI Logistics conducted route assessments, transportation planning, risk evaluations, and coordination with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

The Scope of Work (SOW) included complete cargo transportation, port handling services, port charges management, and the final delivery and positioning of the cargo at the designated installation location. From cargo arrival at the port to final placement on-site, every stage of the logistics process was managed by TAGI Logistics with precise coordination and strict compliance with project requirements. The company also handled all operational interfaces between the port authorities, transport teams, lifting crews, and the project owner to maintain seamless communication and minimize operational delays.
To execute this oversized cargo movement safely, TAGI Logistics deployed a Man Mover together with a 12-axle Self-Propelled Trailer (SPT). This specialized heavy transport solution provided exceptional load distribution, stability, and maneuverability, allowing the cargo to be transported through restricted access areas and accurately positioned at its final destination. The advanced equipment, combined with experienced operators and project engineers, ensured maximum safety throughout every phase of the operation while protecting both the cargo and surrounding infrastructure.
Safety remained the highest priority during the entire project. Detailed method statements, lifting plans, traffic management procedures, and contingency measures were developed before mobilization. Continuous supervision and real-time coordination enabled the project team to identify potential risks early and execute each movement with precision and efficiency. Despite the cargo’s oversized dimensions and the complexity of the operation, the project was completed successfully, on schedule, and without incident.
